I have always had a dandruff problem. It has increased a lot in the past week. If I run my fingers through, it is like heavy snow. What are the best solutions for this?

Aspirin contains the same active ingredient (salicylic acid) as many medicated dandruff shampoos. Keep flaking in check by crushing two aspirins to a fine powder and adding it to the normal amount of shampoo you use each time you wash your hair. Leave the mixture on your hair for 1-2 minutes, then rinse well and wash again with plain shampoo.

Lemon - Dandruff relief may be no farther away than your refrigerator. Just massage 2 tablespoons lemon juice into your scalp and rinse with water. Then stir 1 teaspoon lemon juice into 1 cup water and rinse your hair with it.

Pour, Rinse, and Barely Repeat With Vinegar

Coconut oil - Before showering, massage 3-5 tablespoons of coconut oil into your scalp and let sit for about an hour. Shampoo normally. You can also look for a shampoo that already contains coconut oil.

Aloe vera - Stop yourself from scratching by massaging aloe vera into your scalp before shampooing. The cooling effects of aloe vera will stop the itch.

weekly henna treatments are very useful : they help to restore normal balance and prevent dandruff. they are helpful in general hair care too. Add 4 teaspoon each of lemon juice and coffee , 2 raw eggs ,one teaspoon methi seed powder and enough tea powder to the henna powder , mixing it into thick paste.make tea water by boiling used tea leaves again in enough water ,cooling and straining the liquid .Apply the henna on hair and wash off after an hour .if you dont wish to use egg,add more tea water .this not only helps to remove dandruffs ,but conditions the hair ,adding strength, body and shine to the hair.

1.Improve circulation. Brush clean hair every day to improve circulation and remove any dandruff flakes. Massage your head with your fingertips before or immediately after brushing to further improve circulation.

2.Keep your scalp clean. To naturally get rid of dandruff buildup, One way is to dilute cider vinegar with an equal amount of water and dab onto the scalp with a cotton ball. Witch hazel, undiluted, can be substituted for the cider vinegar and water if you have it on hand. If you prefer a method that doesn't sting, use undiluted coconut oil. Massage the coconut oil into the scalp with fingertips or a brush, then rinse the scalp with hot water---or as warm as can be tolerated---for up to 15 minutes. This method will keep your scalp dandruff free for up to 6 months.
